RFC 2017 Premiers

“Your artwork is spectacular.

You have made quick work already with Harvey Silver Executive Producer of The Footy Show Ch9, who is prepared to look at doing a piece on the Grand Final Show, excellent news.

It was fantastic to see the great Herald Sun article over the weekend about Harry’s incredible artwork. I would love to hear about the progress you have been able to make profiling this incredible piece (and artist!) and if there is any way I can continue to support.

A big congrats for this fantastic article and looking forward to speaking soon.”

– Zan Schmidt, Alannah & Madeline Foundation

“I contacted Harry in 2017 to see if he was interested in creating something for the Aussie Rules Passion and Pain Exhibition.

I knew that whatever he did it would be spectacular. He did not disappoint. He has spent months creating this artwork with the most meticulous attention to detail.

The 2D image, does not do the work justice, but the You Tube, enables you to see the 3D effect.

Fantastic responses from fellow artists who have viewed the You Tube clip.”

Heather Welsh, Rotary Club of Caulfield Inc.

“Dear Harry,

It gives me pleasure to pay tribute to you for the three-dimensional photographic collage you completed, and which was presented to me by Yeshiva College during my time as the Member for Caulfield.

This large piece which beautifully depicts my visits to Yeshiva hangs proudly in my study at home behind my desk.

I view it as a clever and reflective work of art, which brings back very happy memories of my relationship with Yeshiva during the nearly 15 years I served as a Member of the Victorian Parliament.”

“Harry Elkus approached me with a unique concept to create the 10 commandments tablets to go above the ark in the new synagogue being built in the newly constructed Gandel House as being part of Emmy Monash Aged Care.

Apart from designing the incredible idea, Harry knew the tradespersons – glass artisans- who could bring it to fruition, and we worked all together to bring it to reality.

It was installed prior to the official opening of the building in 2016, and it’s a work of absolute beauty.”
